Celebrating 5 years of excellence by FAAN @Osubi Airport.

Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) Osubi Airport Celebrated 5 years of excellence in a grand style.

SUMMARY OF EVENT

A Novelty football Match between Osubi airport football team and the airport host community team was staged in the morning, of 1 st May, 2026 which happened to be international workers Day.
The Airport Manager, Mr Winston Egwuatu declared the event open with a ceremonial kick of the ball at 9:30 am. Attendance was impressive, there was live football commentary, supporters fan club of both teams ensured steady entertainment throughout the game which had both TV and radio coverage. The Match ended 2:1 in favor of team host community. At the end, both teams’ players were rewarded with medals of participation, highlighting the need for team work, hard work and excellence which is in line with the innovative leadership styled management of Mr. Winston Egwuatu, the Airport Manager.
